The scouting report is useful for preparing for the amateur draft, and also when looking for potential trade candidates.
To access your team's scouting report go to your Team Menu > General Manager > Scouting Report.
The scouting report is very similar to the player search in how it works, but it focuses purely on the projected potential ratings of players.

The accuracy of the scouting report is dictated by the amount a team spend on scouting. The more you spend, the more accurate.

Included in the scouting report is an Advanced: Rank By picker. This advanced metric ranks players by a combination of ratings.
Rankings are compared across all immatuer players, meaning some players are already on teams. If you are not including Players Still Developing On Other Teams in your results, you may see gaps in the rankings.
Also, multiple players can share the same ranking. It may just happen that multiple players are so similar in certain ratings they are tied for the same ranking.
Combine the ranking metric with the Sort By column to sort prospects by best to worst ranked players.
