The Scouting Director’s Report (SDR) provides an overview of the players in your own system, and those from around the league, who might be eligible for various types of over-development.
This section of the report allows you to determine your scouting and development priorities.
By default, a team’s S&D priorities are evenly split between pitching and offense.
However, you can customize your team’s priorities to focus on one of those areas more than the other.
If you change your team’s S&D priorities, it will not take effect immediately. Instead, the change will take effect gradually.
A higher Pitching Priority means your scouts will identify more pitchers for over-development AND your development staff will have more success upgrading or improving pitchers.
Likewise, a higher Offense Priority means your scouts will identify more offensive players for over-development AND your development staff will have more success upgrading or improving position players.
This section of the report identifies players in your minors who are eligible for upgrades. More on Player Upgrades
