Each team has four rosters, which can be maaged by going to your Team Menu > General Manager > Roster.
The major league roster contains all the players who will participate in games. It has room for up to 25 players.
Players can be moved to this roster at will.
The lineup can be managed by going to your Team Menu > Manager > Lineup.
The rotation can be managed by going to your Team Menu > Manager > Rotation.
The minor league roster can contain as many as 20 players. This is where prospects develop, and where low-cost insurance players can be stored.
Players can be moved to this roster at will.
The pending roster has no limit on size. This is where all newly acquired players initially land.
From here they must be moved to either the MAJ or MIN roster.
Failure to assign a player on the PEN roster after 25 league days (2.5 real days) will result in that player being released by the team, and the remainder of the player's contract being immediately paid out from the team's cash reserves.
Player can not be moved to this roster from any other rosters.
When a player suffers an injury he can be moved to the DL.
This roster has no upper limit.
A player moved to the DL will remain there for at least 15 league days.
Players who have only one-year remaiing on their contract at the end of a season will file for free-agency after the off-season.
Any players you wish to retain must have an extension by October 1st.
